How long have you been animating?

So, I just wanted to know this from a couple of people.

And also, could you post a recent animation, so I can see what the range is like, for each time-zone.

I forgot to mention that I was 2 weeks - A Month.

4-5 years, but I had to do it by myself and it was on and off. Dont judge me by my years, I still have alot to learn.

I've been animating in flash for around 8-9 months, I believe. I started around November 2008, maybe.

4-5 years and counting I guess. I hardly ever animate to get better though, just for fun and in the most lazily done way as possible. In fact I hardly animate at all, but if you count the years past since I started stick animating with Flash, it's 4-5 years.

yeah, i've been animating for quiet some time now

8 months. From late august.

I started to animate may 2007. but started to play Counter Strike in the summer.
then I started to animate in 2008 sometime, don't know ^^

I've been animating in between 1-2 years, took 5 months break so far dunno why :<, animated with tweens for like 6 months and have been animating frame by frame for like 7-9 months, I had to learn everything along with Swank, didn't join forums till mid last year. So yeah, I've been on and off for a while, not proud of that D: But yeah, I keep improving when I do animate a lot, lately I've been getting back into it again, properly >

2 and half years with a 6 months delay.

I realised, animators improved like a sky rocket during their first and second year since they're so passionate about it. It's after that most of them turned rusty after the lack of motivation. =(

Same story as Scythe, he was my "teacher" sort of. 4-5 years ago. :P
